Remember the days when a 15 inch flat screen monitor was to die for? Everybody had those huge clunky CRT computer monitors on their desks and you wished you could afford the hundreds of pounds to buy that great little 15 inch flat thin screen.
Since then, flat panels have come a long way. Sizes and quality have shot upwards; prices have plummeted. It all happened so quickly you may not have noticed, but if your computer monitor is anything less than 22 inch, you should have a look at upgrading. 22 inch is fast becoming the norm, and prices are rock bottom.
A favourite of mine at the moment is the LG W2242S, a 22″ TFT monitor with a fabulous resolution of 1680×1050 and a quick response time of only 5ms, ideal for online gamers. At less than £130, this monitor is a bargain and should be at the top of your Christmas gift list. At this price, you could add it to your Christmas gift list and still leave the digital camera and Black and Decker there as well!
Product reviews all rave about the amazing quality and value for money, so I can see Santa bringing an awful lot of LG monitors as Christmas presents this year.
